JOB SCOPE AND MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
The EssilorLuxottica Production Team is looking for a Senior Creative to lead the in-house videographers team dedicated to Leonardo, the innovative learning platform by EssilorLuxottica.
The Senior Creative is the person in charge to lead, from a creative standpoint, the activities of the team and overseeing the projects from concept development to post-production & delivery.
He/She will be responsible for concepting, pitch, coordinating, shoot, directing and editing video contents.
He/She will be in-charge to produce studio and on-location shoots, directing talents (actors or experts), and managing the onset crew, schedule and shot list
He/She will meets with internal clients and stakeholders to evaluate, discuss, and/or propose requests and ideas for video projects. Creates and evaluates proposals, outlines and scripts for clarity of purpose, consideration of audience, and appropriate creative and technical approach.
He/She will direct video productions ranging from single-camera productions to multi-camera field and studio productions. This includes interacting with and guiding clients. through the production process. Operates and/or directs the operation of professional cameras, audio equipment, lighting equipment and related equipment with the goal to obtain the most appropriate and effective materials.
During post production, he/she will edit and/or directs the editing to meet time and aesthetic quality standards. Creates and/or guides the creation of graphics and soundtracks. Operates and/or oversees the post-production operations. Coordinates the archiving of video assets for short and long term storage and access.
He/She will act as a mentor with the junior staff
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATED ACTIVITIES:
To lead and coordinate a team of 5 videographers.
To develop creativity and to execute briefs.
Script, storyboard and select optimal forms for projects.
Collaborate closely with internal clients and stakeholders to help facilitate the creation of video contents.
Direct on-screen talents.
Partnering with screen-writers to develop script
TECHNICAL SKILLS – PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE:
Technical skills in video, such as (but not limited to) familiarity with professional cameras and prosumer camcorders, lighting/grip, scriptwriting, storyboarding and photography.
Knowledge in audio such as small format mixers, compression, EQ, effects processors, audio recording techniques for studio and field, multi-track and waveform editing.
Digital video editing, still and motion graphics design, and video compression for multiple delivery platforms.
Strong knowledge of still life video is a plus.
Extensive knowledge of video production.
Deep knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects is a plus).
