"The E-Commerce Manager leads the E-commerce teams and activities across all countries and channels in order to dramatically accelerate direct sales across internet channels and contact centers. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Develops the best-in-class e-commerce website in the Cruise industry, learning from relevant experiences in adjacent businesses (accommodations, flights, travel services);
- Corrects and enhances booking funnels, from product selection to registration to payment provider optimisation;
- Is responsible for user experience and navigation improvements;
- Constantly monitors and reports on results and conversion indicators;
- Strives for sales regardless of what channel is used (web, phone, apps, chats, etc.);
- Creates and drives a number-centric, performance-centric, no-excuses team;
- Coaches and trains local teams accordingly.
JOB REQUIREMENTS (skills, competencies, experience):
- Fluent English and at least another European Language (FR DE IT ES)
- 7+ years of experiences in similar position in multinational companies, particularly from airlines and OLTAs
- 5+ years of people management experience
- Knowledge and experience in creating and optimizing website conversion funnels (web-to-web, web-to-phone, mobile-to-phone, etc.)
- Experience with multi-countries payment processing providers - Strong numerical skills and passion for sales
- A people leader with strong thinking and visioning skills
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural, multi-lingual environment
- A fast learner and an excellent listener
