"Counsel will be the in-house lawyer for INTESA SANPAOLO New York Branch and will supervise the legal soundness of all internal and external documentation of the Bank, receiving from time to time the assistance of outside counsels, instructed by the Branch Manager. - check legal soundness of the Branch's procedures and documentation activities; - assist all Corporate, Syndication, Treasury, Emerging Markets, Financial Institutions and Product officers on general and specific legal issues; - liaise with Head Office Direzione Legale and outside counsels; - work with the Compliance, Audit and other Corporate Governance functions with respect to legal issues arising form Regulatory matters, Required qualifications, skills and knowledge: 1) 3-4 years of experience in a law firm in the United States, dealing with international clients, as well as some experience in Italy; 2) General knowledge of the Legal System, detailed knowledge of Banking law, market practices, and Regulatory requirements/issues; 3) Degree in LAW, Master in International Law and Bar Admitted in US; 4) Fluency in Italian"
