"We are currently looking for a Group Tax Officer to join our Finance team. This position will report to our Group CFO and will take overall responsibility for the tax function in line with Global Tax strategy defined by the MSC Group and other stakeholders. The primary mission of the role will be to ensure overall responsibility for the tax position including Corporate income tax, international tax, transfer pricing, indirect tax and others for the MSC Group. This involves monitoring the tax compliance, managing the relationship with the local tax authorities and identifying and addressing any tax issues / risk areas. You will also be responsible of the overall tax advice in the MSC group and provide continuous updates regarding new tax laws and regulations, and the subsequent impacts on the Group strategy and business. This position has an advisory responsibility to Management and makes proposals regarding the Group structure development and assessing financial impact of those operations from tax standpoint, in order to ensure overall compliance with International related regulations and support corporate strategic planning, collaborating with other internal stakeholders. You will manage a Group Tax Manager and a Group Transfer Pricing Manager both with a focus on global operations as well. The ideal candidate will have the following: - Perfect command of both written and spoken English and French, Italian a plus. - Master's degree in Tax Law, Economics a minimum. - Extensive knowledge in tax matters (corporate tax, indirect tax, international tax, transfer pricing, freight tax) - At least 12 years' experience in a tax function with 7 at least in a position requiring a global focus - Thorough understanding of Group Tax Management with wide expertise of business best practices. - Ability to take initiative, tactical thinking and analytical skills. - Strong organizational and communication skills. - Excellent capability to build relationships with various stakeholders from different levels including country authorities, local finance team"
