Although in our country there is a general perception of insecurity, the data concerning crime, the most bloody and arrogant one, photograph a constant decrease in crimes, especially the most serious ones.
Less and less people die at the hands of a knife or a gun, but yes
he still dies too much from road accidents; the numbers concerning this particular type of events are truly alarming.
During the meeting, the speakers want to make available to the Police Forces who are faced with this type of accidents and crimes, a complete consultation and study tool that, starting from the first arrival on the scene, leads them to correct performance of their operational tasks - protection of places, examination of the victim, execution of surveys, video-photographic documentation, preservation and collection of finds, traces and videos of video surveillance - as well as the timely implementation of all traditional investigation activities such as stops, arrests, searches, seizures and acquisition of declarative and testimonial information, in compliance with the rules of the Criminal Procedure Code which regulate the activities of the Judicial Police and defensive investigations. During the Advanced Training Course the teachers will illustrate in detail the findings and definitions contained in the UNI 11472/2019 standard.
The most important technical activities will be illustrated during the meeting
to be carried out at the crime scene with a compelling description of the most current and decisive scientific evidence such as DNA, BPA, ballistics, but ample space will also be given to forms.
If it is true as it is true that we are surrounded by traces referable to victims and perpetrators, what are the reasons that still today, cause many crimes to remain unsolved or to be solved only after very long and costly investigations or trials without end?
The reasons, it is easy to understand, are many and refer to aspects that affect various sectors of the investigative activity. In fact, there is a negative tendency to operate as if each one can act independently of the other, without thinking about how important the activity of each is and how this can affect positively or negatively on
an investigation.
