Sealence provides all the powertrain to the shipyard, including all the necessary components for installing and controlling the DeepSpeed technology onboard the boat.
The powertrain can be either fully electric or Hybrid, which is equipped with a power generation component on board (e.g., Fuel-cell system or Range Extender) that recharges the battery pack.
Each powertrain is equipped with a Smartbox, a proprietary system that can control and manage all the energy flows of the components and jets installed onboard.
Our powertrains are Tier 5 Compliant because much below the emission limits imposed by the European Tier 4 Marpol Annexvi legislation, which will require shipyards and shipping companies to comply with new anti-pollution standards.
At the moment, the jets are installed on two hulls laboratory, on boats of the partner yards in the range 12 - 24 meters, and from the spring 2022 on a ship passenger transport 24 meters and 160 pax of the Lauro Company, operating in the Gulf of Naples in the route Naples-Ischia-Procida.
