Banca IMI (Intesa Group) is looking for new qualify profiles with the following requirements:

Scope and Purpose

- To originate and structure leveraged finance transactions in favour of Italian and foreign customers of the group that have a significant level of financial leverage, such as significant loan transactions oriented towards to the acquisition/merger of/between companies;

- To execute all the quantitative analysis within the operational phases of leveraged finance transactions with the support of junior resources;

- To draw up models, financial structure and all the other documents supporting the transaction with the support of junior resources;

- To negotiate the same documents with counterparties, other lenders and legal advisors;

- To prepare the credit application to the relevant internal areas;

- To liaise with any relevant department of the Bank (Credit, Rating, Portfolio Monitoring, etc.);

- To execute portfolio management/monitoring activities and coordinate one or more junior resources in charge for maintaining the teams' databases, portfolio and general transaction administration;

- To be available for all the operational support within new transactions or outstanding ones monitoring and credit reviewing.

Required Experience:

The successful candidate should ideally have at least 4-5 years working experience in a leveraged finance team, ideally in major Italian or international banks with high exposure to the structuring and the arrangement of leveraged financings in a senior role.

A list of the transactions followed by the candidate would be recommended (subject to confidentiality).
Competencies Required

The successful candidate should be self-motivated, proactive, have good inter-personal skills with colleagues and clients/counterparties, able to work in a team and to lead junior resources whilst carrying out his scope of activities in total autonomy and to cope with high levels of pressure.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge

The successful candidate should:

- have deep knowledge of cashflow financing;
- be highly numerate with strong and developed credit analysis skills and an excellent understanding of credit risk tools and portfolio management techniques;
- have strong financial modelling skills;
- have deep knowledge of legal and contractual features of cashflow financing;
- have excellent knowledge of the Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) package;
- be good in English (spoken and written).
